Behind our place at the beach was a fantastic pool with a water slide, fountains, curling river-type design and splash area, along with a zero entry for little kids. The zero entry side, as you’d probably guess, starts with pavement and very gently slopes into the pool, so where the water begins is marked “0 feet 00 meters.” Helpfully, they also added a “no diving” warning right there, which is a good thing because otherwise I’m sure some thoughtless yahoo would have attempted to dive into the half centimeter of water puddling nearby! Sheesh! Sometimes you just have to wonder!
The kids loved the pool and made great progress with swimming. You can see Hannah cavorting in the zero entry section above. I love water in beach, lake, stream and pool forms, so it’s fun to see the children learn to love it too!
