All that and the bag of chips

As if having a fabulous sea turtle birthday party was not enough, Jack also got to enjoy a visit from my parents.  They hadn’t been here for one of Jack’s birthdays yet, so he was excited that they celebrated his third with him.

I think Jack and my dad have a very similar sense of humor.  Get ready for some cheezy stories and puns.  Dad taught Jack to sing “I love bananas because they have appeal” but I can’t get the video to load so you’ll have to take my word for it.

Since the air conditioner was out, my parents let us hang out at their hotel room for a while and use their hotel pool.  Isn’t Sarah’s swimsuit the cutest thing?  I got it at Target on sale for $8.

After swimming, we got ice cream at Maggie Moo’s, which I had never visited but thought was fabulous.  Mom and Hannah liked the silly face boards.

It was a jam-packed weekend and I feel like I’m still trying to catch up!

  1. How nice that your parents could visit, and even nicer that they let you hang out at their hotel! Nothing beats the heat like a dip in the pool and cooling off in the A/C somewhere. 🙂 I’m glad your A/C is fixed now!

Sarah’s swimsuit is adorable! It’s “tutu” cute, ha ha! Even better, I like the chunky arms and legs – squeezable babies are just the best! 🙂
