New and Improved!

Welcome to the new A Spirited Mind!  I moved to self-hosted WordPress last night and hope you’ll follow me here.   Amy Andrews from Uncluttered Design made my fabulous new site design and was amazingly patient with my innumerable questions.  I would highly recommend her services if you need any web design help – in addition to being a great designer Amy’s prices are the best I found and she offers itemized pricing.

I think you’ll find the site is a lot easier to navigate now.  If you don’t already subscribe, you can sign up to read A Spirited Mind in your feed reader or get posts delivered straight to your email via the buttons on the top left.  You can also follow me on Twitter or email me from that section.

If you have links to A Spirited Mind, you may need to update them to reflect the new URL www.aspiritedmind.com.

Thanks for reading and visiting A Spirited Mind!  Have a great weekend!

  1. I love your new look! I’ve thought about migrating to self-hosted WP, but I know NOTHING about it. Was it time-consuming on your end?

    • Thanks Amy! I made the decision for several reasons, mostly to have a long-term spot I could build on in more flexible ways. I didn’t do the migration myself, because I have almost 1100 posts and I was nervous to lose everything, but Amy from Uncluttered Design did the whole move for me very inexpensively. I’d really recommend her if you want to consider moving. Her site (linked in the post) gives a good breakdown of her pricing, so you can just pay for what you need, not for stuff you can do yourself or don’t want.

Anyway, I’m finding WP to be pretty intuitive as I poke around, and I already like it better than Blogger!
