The kids were disappointed that we had to skip playgroup this morning due to lingering illness but they decided the next best thing was to pretend to BE the playgroup. For about half an hour they traded roles.
Jack: I be Baby Sam.Hannah: OK, I’m Baby Sam’s mama.
Me: Who is Sarah going to be?
Jack: She Jenna!
Hannah: No, Sarah can’t be Jenna because she can’t walk. She can be Kate’s new baby.
And on it went. I was glad that the game distracted them. Hopefully we’ll be over this sickness soon and can resume our normal activities!
