Driving a minivan is already pretty much the epitome of hipness. Short of putting in hydraulics and spinning rims, there really isn’t much you can do to make this vehicle any cooler. That’s why I was so incredibly psyched to get stuck behind one of those trucks that paints the road. In the two short blocks that I was unable to make my escape, a wind gust ensured that some of the bright yellow paint adhered like barnacles to the side of my red minivan. Yeah, it’s permanent and dried as hard as a rock before I pulled into the parking lot of the grocery store.
I’m going to email the Department of Transportation to find out if they have any suggestions for removing this lovely vehicular art. If all else fails, I plan to contact “Pimp My Ride” to see if they want to do a segment on minivans with street cred.
