Review: Meditative Time Tea

I send off for a lot of random free samples, and, quite frankly, I did not have high hopes for the Yogi Tea package. Compared to the free samples of granola bars and cereal and diapers and whatnot that generally show up in our mailbox, the tea seemed a little evocative of…I don’t know…a wanna-be sitar player?

That just goes to show how you can’t judge a tea by it’s brand marketing. Hannah and I had our sample of Meditative Time tea during one of our regular tea parties recently and we both LOVED it!

The caffeine free tea has a complex layering of flavors including sage, lavender, boysenberry, chrysanthemum, lemon, and other things like “Shank Pushpi” that I had to look up. The effect is very relaxing, although I’m not sure I’d vouch for it’s ability to “clarify your mind.”

If you’re a fan of interesting teas, or just like to have a variety of caffeine free drinks on hand, I’d recommend Yogi Tea’s Meditative Time. If you try it, let me know what you think!
