And We’re Off

As my grandmother used to say, “We’re off like a herd of turtles!” And so we are. The kids and I are leaving today for this year’s iteration of the Honey Chile (or is the plural of “chile” in fact “chillun?”) Roadshow – we’ll be visiting with relatives and spending a week at the beach. I am only bringing nine books with me, plus three magazines. And one workout DVD. I stubbornly only packed five outfits each for me and the kids, because there is a washer and dryer in the beach house. I hate overpacking, almost as much as I hate underpacking. I’m certain I forgot something, but hopefully it’s not something important!
