What Are the Odds?

Have you ever been so busy wrangling your toddlers into the double stroller and slathering them with sunscreen that you left your keys sitting on top of your car trunk? I have.

I didn’t even realize it until three hours later when I arrived back at the parking lot and saw the keys perched right where I had left them.

I was so thankful that no one stole my car, or took the keys to turn them in to the police. Since I don’t have a cell phone either of those outcomes would have a been a total predicament.

Instead, the kids and I enjoyed a nice play date at the water park with Amy and Alaina and Rochelle and their kids. We had a picnic lunch, Hannah ran away twice but was found twice, and then the kids and I walked around the trails for 45 minutes before going home.

I’m relieved and grateful that we had such a great day rather than being struck by disaster. God is good.
