A Pleasant Surprise

I never planted a peony in my front flower bed, and YET today I found one growing underneath another bush and it had the above three gorgeous flowers thereon! How awesome is that? Peonies are so pretty and smell lovely! I’m thinking about digging up the plant and moving it, since under an evergreen bush is not a great location for a peony. Is it safe to move it now, or should I wait until later in the season?
My other gardening project is the above experiment with growing garlic and red pearl onions indoors. I got tired of my leggy and dejected looking houseplant, so I tossed it and used the dish to plant three garlic cloves and two little onions. Apparently once the green tops have fallen over, the garlic cloves will have turned into their own heads of garlic. Meanwhile you can use snippets of the green tops as an herb. I haven’t tried that yet.
