Actually, this post could be more aptly titled “The Week OUT OF Books” because I didn’t get a chance to pick up my holds from the library until Sunday afternoon. However, I did get one book read, and doesn’t it look lonely there all by itself.
I have to say, “Breathing Lessons” didn’t grab me the same way that “Digging to America” (see last week’s review) did, but I still enjoyed it. The characters grapple with how completely exasperating every other character is, yet don’t see how they are doing similar things or how they are annoying everyone else, and I thought Tyler wrote that tension well without sacrificing clarity.
