I love my Black and Decker Handy Chopper Plus mini food processor. As you know, I make Hannah’s baby food rather than buying it. I had been making big batches of individual things and freezing them in ice cube trays and transferring the cubes to labeled bags, then thawing the right mix of cubes for each meal. It was not that much work, but still required forethought. Lately I have stopped pre-making cubes in favor of just chopping up whatever we’re eating for dinner so Hannah can eat it too (and leftovers for lunch). The mini food processor is perfect for the job.
For example, tonight I threw in some green beans, rice, and beef-mushroom stuff, pulsed it a few times and voila, dinner for Hannah. She loves eating what we’re eating. And it certainly saves time for me!
I got the Handy Chopper at Kohls for free when I bought a crock pot a few years ago. Normally they run about $10. It’s so worth it.
