Hopes Dashed

Mmmmkay kids, first off let me assure those who were concerned that the milk I was using to make yogurt was FROM MY COWSHARE not “homemade” so to speak. Sheesh!

That said, it didn’t work! I think my mistake was in adding the culture before transferring the milk to the yogurt maker container. As a consequence, the milk didn’t…ummm…yog. Which is to say, it didn’t set up properly into yogurt. It’s not spoiled, but it’s more like watery sour cream than yogurt. I will have to cook with it, I suppose.

I’m saddened by my failure as a yogurtista, but I will try again!
