Touched (But Not In The Head…At Least Not To My Knowledge)

Today Hannah and I met some of my former coworkers for lunch. I had expected a few people to be there, but I was surprised at how many people came, and they brought gifts! They gave us a huge framed picture of the Indianapolis skyline (with nearly hidden llama – I found it, Julie!) that tons of people from the field office had signed. Also, they gave me a platter with my monogram on it, and a big basket full of scrumptious cheeses and other yummy edibles. Lest I forget, I also received a box of jelly beans to replace the ones that one of my esteemed colleagues had consumed whilst I was out of the office and unable to claim them. I was really touched by the gifts and the lunch, because it made me feel like the work I did was appreciated and like I will be missed.
