As my dear readers are doubtless aware, Josh is the one with the musical talent in our family; I am the one who took piano lessons for years and years and still don’t play very well. However, since music is a big part of Josh’s life, I decided to ask him to teach me how to play the guitar so we can play together. He seemed to think that was a good idea, so last Sunday I had my first lesson. Thus far I can play a fingering exercise with questionable accuracy, but I’m developing tougher fingers and have been practicing assiduously. Hopefully soon I will be able to progress to learning chords and songs!
